Dara Torres is a 12-time Olympic medalist and one of the most iconic
swimmers in U.S. history, competing in five Olympic Games across three
decades. She made history as one of the oldest Olympic swimming
medalists, redefining longevity, peak performance, and what is possible
for female athletes at every stage of life.
Today, Torres serves as a coach for the Boston College swim team, where
she mentors and develops the next generation of elite athletes, bringing
firsthand Olympic experience into a collegiate program. She is also a
dedicated mother to her daughter, balancing high-performance sport,
leadership, and family life with authenticity and credibility.
