We’ve been watching Chef Darian Bryan and Chef Cole Lawson light up screens all season on Next Level Chef, and last night, it got even better.
Renegade Talent MGMT’s Chef Darian Bryan and Chef Cole Lawson both earned their spots in the Next Level Chef Season 5 finale. In the semi-final Legacy Challenge, the Top 4 were each handed a mystery protein and given 30 minutes to cook a finale-worthy dish. Darian came in with an advantage he’d earned in a previous episode and used it to get a head start on the field. When the judges deliberated, his dish rose to the top, securing his place in the finale, with Cole right behind him.
If you’ve been following Chef Darian’s journey from his roots in Bratts Hill, Jamaica, to building his restaurant empire in Buffalo, to standing on a FOX stage in front of Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais, you already know this moment has been earned.
Chef Cole has been equally relentless. Earlier in the season, Cole and Darian went head-to-head in a noodle challenge and both took the top two spots, earning the right to cook in the top-level kitchen the following week. She’s been a force from day one.
